Girls Night

Alex is wearing Dress: Calvin Klein, Denim Top: J. Crew, Bag: Madewell, Boots: Hunter Boots

There are certain moments that I absolutely look forward to and one of those has to be getting together with my best friends, Alex and Nessie.  While strolling around Downtown Royal Oak, we aimlessly wondered in vintage shops and spent a little time taking photos (it felt good being behind the lens for once) before stopping in Starbucks. Although our lives have taken us in different directions with attending different colleges and what not, we always make time to spend together, which is always a blast and tonight was no different. Whether it's going out for coffee, giving guy advice, laughing until we're in tears, or reflecting on our favorite memories from high school, I always have the best time with my girls. I'll always be grateful to them for extending their friendship to me in my loneliest of moments. As a young woman experiencing life in my early twenties, life is bound to have its hardships and battles and even its enchanting and delightful moments. However, it becomes that much sweeter when you have two awesome girlfriends by your side.

My Music: Silence is the Noise

https://soundcloud.com/jewell-bell

When I first started StopDropClothe, I mentioned that I not only wanted to share my fashion but also my music. I've always composed music since I was twelve but really started seriously diving into song writing within the last 2 years. Recently, I've started my new solo music project "Silence is the Noise" and wanted to share my new track "Love." Click the link above to listen!

True Grit

Hat: Vintage  Leather Jacket: Top Shop

Bag: Vintage  Rings: (Index) Vintage (Middle) Urban Outfitters  (Index) Forever21

Dress and Belt: BCBG Max Azria  Boots: Nine West

Necklace: Vintage

Decided to step out this weekend in my maxi high-low dress from BCBG Max Azria which I love! So sexy and comfortable, it perfectly drapes the body and I love the versatilety in how you can dress it up or down. I went for a more edgy look, pairing it with a chunky detailed leather belt and jacket as well as my vintage wide brim hat and bag. Set in one of my favorite locations, the meat packing district, I love the grittiness and old rugged brick buildings. I find myself discovering beauty in almost anything.

Weekend Wear

Dress: Free People  Leather Jacket:H&M

Necklace: Forever21
Bag and Boots: Urban Outfitters  Rings: (Index) Vintage (Middle) Gift

I love nothing more than the weekends, and my peasant styled dress from Free People was perfect to wear. I spent some time doing a little shopping, to which I found some great vintage pieces, while my H&M leather jacket kept me warm. I liked adding lace ankle boots, a fringe bag, and leather jacket to give my look some edge so as to not make it so soft. Thus far, the weekend has gotten off to a great start, to which I also had an amazing jam session with a couple of my friends working on original songs. It's little moments in life that give you true happiness and makes you feel good- not to mention looking it.

Street Style

Coat: Calvin Klein

Backpack: Vintage Coach

Crop Top and Jeans: American Apparel  Boots: Doc Martens  Hat: Target

Rings: (Index) Urban Outfitters,  (Middle) Vintage

Lipstick: Diva by MAC
Seems like the weather here in Michigan is getting more and more brutal. Luckily I had my long camel colored wool peacoat by Calvin Klein I found while thrifting to keep me warm. Although it's cold, I still decided to wear my long sleeve crop top and high waist easy jeans from American Apparel. After all, a girl can bare a little skin in the winter right? Pairing my vintage coach backpack and black Doc Marten boots were the perfect touch to toughen my look up. I'm literally obsessed with Doc Martens-they're the perfect boot for any season. While wondering around, I spent some time in one of the cutest cafes I recently discovered, The Red Hook. Stocked with the best looking and tasting pastries and delicious hot drinks, I couldn't say no. Nothing like a hot mocha as well as pistachio and blood orange macaroons to keep you cozy during the cold temperatures.
