Blue Me Away

Kimono: Forever21  Shoes: Urban Outfitters

Hat: Free People  Earrings: Vintage

Bag and Sunglasses: Coach

After inarguably the best month of my life spent in Amsterdam and Brussels, I'm officially back home! I miss the Netherlands so incredibly much, and can still feel the soft breeze off the gorgeous canals or picture the hustle and bustle of Dam Square. However, it's so nice to be back with friends and family, not to mention getting acclimated with the City again. I've even managed to break through my writer's block and start composing new music, to which I'll be sharing on here soon. Still swept away by the nostalgia and beauty of Europe, as well as the sentimental music i've had on full rotation (both my own and my favorite indie artists), it was only natural that I gravitated to a more romantic look with this gorgeous floral kimono from Forever 21 I managed to find while in Amsterdam. I'm completely obsessed with the floral print and variation of blues, as well as the light weight movement that makes it a true standout. Pairing my wide brim hat from Free People and Lace up wedge boot sandals from Urban Outfitters added some edginess so as balance out the overt femininity. A simple over- the- shoulder black leather bag and sunglasses from Coach were classic accessories, not to mention my favorite pair of vintage drop earrings. Summer is vastly coming to an end and my last year at University is just around the corner, to which I'm trying to soak in as much sun and "balls-to -the- wall" moments as I can. Can't wait to experience what's next.

Beautiful One- Leaving Amsterdam

Kimono: Nordstrom  Sandals: Urban Outfitters

Jewelry: Forever21

Halter Top and Shorts: American Apparel

I can't believe that my time in Amsterdam has finally come to an end, my how a month's time flies! I decided to spend my last day taking in as much of the city as I could, soaking in all of it's beauty and charm. Opting for my cream lace knit kimono from Nordstrom was the perfect standout piece to feel otherworldly while strolling through some of my favorite neighborhoods. So soft and bohemian like, it effortlessly flowed through the warm breeze of the day. I decided to pair it with my super sexy halter body suit and high waist tap shorts from American Apparel and gypsy styled jewelry- adding the perfect pop of color with my favorite hue of blue. To say I'll miss Amsterdam is an understatement and i've made so many memories here that it's like a second home to me. From my daily strolls across the most enchanting canals, espresso and croissants from my favorite quaint cafes, jumping on stage and dancing freely at various bars, marveling at Van Gogh's outstanding art, enthralled by the very essence of the flea markets, getting lost in Brussels only to meet some cool ass frenchmen, flirting with gorgeous dutchmen, and even conquering my fear of pigeons, Amsterdam will forever have a special place in my heart. I've become such a woman here who's not afraid to take risks and is completely comfortable in my own skin. The tragedy of Life is that it's fleeting, however what makes it beautiful are all the endless possibilities in what we make of that temporary time, and the people we become because of it. I'm truly blessed for the experiences I've had, the memories that follow and the exciting adventures that are to come. After all, living only comes once...and a Beautiful One it shall be.

Bell in Brussels

Leather Jacket: Top Shop  Boots: Doc Martens

Dress: Urban Outfitters

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure to visit Brussels, Belgium for the weekend, to which I completely fell in love! I must admit, I kind of preferred Brussels over Amsterdam. So beautifully enchanting, it was nice to get away from the fray in Amsterdam for more of a quiet and polite place such as Brussels. The vintage shops and record stores were absolutely amazing, not to mention the chocolate. After finding myself alone that night, I checked out a really cool set by a local artist who infused real organic sounds with dub step was fantastic! I even managed to meet a couple of frenchmen who were artists as well, and got to discuss music with them. My stay in Europe is quickly coming to an end, and i'm so thankful and blessed to have had the opportunity to visit a part of the world I've always admired. The world is so much bigger than our backyards...and even more so beautiful.
