Green Pastures

Kimono and Boots: Vintage
High-waist Cutoffs: Vintage Levis   Crop Top: American Apparel
Bag: Vintage Coach

Earrings and Ring: Vintage  Bracelets: Forever 21

I've been feeling pretty melancholy lately, almost like I'm on an emotional seesaw. Sometimes I have really high moments and then there are times when I feel very alone-though physically surrounded by others, emotionally and mentally I'm almost vagrant like.  However, it felt great to go out for some fresh air to clear my head on such a lovely day. Finally got the chance to wear my vintage kimono and detailed drop earrings I found in Toronto during my birthday. Decided to pair them with my favorite pair of high-wast vintage Levi cutoffs, a vintage Coach shoulder bag and my brown vintage lace up boots. A white crop top from American Apparel added just a touch of sexiness by revealing a bit of skin. While I spent some time Downtown I decided to visit Go! Sy Thai for a delicious Thai dish, as well as my newest obsession, Drought, (inside the Shinola Store in Midtown) for a delicious all natural/ organic/ vegan juice. I opted for the beet, carrot, apple, and lemon infused juice which was AMAZING! In life you're bound to have crappy days and moments when you don't feel your best or get what you want, however I'm learning to embrace the small moments that make life worth living.

Pretty in Pink

Dress: Vintage  Shoes: Steve Madden

Purse: Michael Kors

Haven't blogged in a little while so thought I'd share a new post and my current happenings. After an amazing weekend downtown at Movement Techno Festival in Detroit with my best friends, I decided to keep things demure and feminine with my 1950s vintage flare pink dress. So flirty, I absolutely love the brightness of the pink- making it an instant stand out. Pairing my palm green Michael Kors bag and leopard pumps from Steve Madden, adding a touch of playfulness, which is perfect for summer. Speaking of, my summer has already been kicking off to a great start- full of discovering new restaurants, quaint coffee houses, amazing places to chill out and making awesome memories with my friends. And as usual, it's all done in style.

She's So Cold

Hat: Free People  Tee: Hot Topic  Boots: Vintage
Bag: Urban Outfitters

High-waist Levis: Thrift   Rings:Vintage

Summer is finally here and I couldn't be happier! With another semester finished at University, I couldn't help but take advantage of the beautiful weather here in Michigan. Spent some time in the city, rocking my new favorite pair of cutoffs which was perfect for the warm up. I absolutely love high-waist denim but sometimes it gets ridiculous to spend an absurd amount of money on them at department stores, which is why I decided to make my own. I purchased a couple of old pair of Levi denim shorts from a thrift store and cut/distressed them to my liking which came out perfect. The best part is that it only cost me $5! Decided to keep things rocker casual with my Rolling Stones graphic tee, some vintage boots I got in Toronto, my wide brim hat from Free People and a fringe bag from Urban Outfitters. After wondering around I stopped by my new favorite coffee spot, Astro Coffee in Corktown for a refreshing Iced Lemon Ginger Tea and an oatmeal and coconut cookie, which was delicious. With summer officially here, I look forward to more moments in cutoffs while wondering around with wild, unruly hair. Who knows what adventures I'll embark on?
